Williamson County Adopt-a-Unit

Major General Jeffery W. Hammond was the keynote speaker at the Welcome Home Celebration for the 1-4 ARB on June 27, 2009. The event was hosted by the Williamson County Adopt-a-Unit teams from the City of Hutto and the City of Taylor. General Hammond's speech received a standing ovation. We think the soldier who presented the U.S. Army Soldier's Creed is Spc Collins with the 4th Infantry Division. You can read a transcript of General Hammond's speech and see the video here.

Lights....camera....action!

Many of you will hit the road soon and cover some of the area 1-4 ARB events. Please take the time to introduce yourself to the Army families and the Adopt-a-Unit organizers. They are interested in meeting you and learning more about what you're doing. Even if you are just shooting stills, you might think about conducting some interviews for your project. Take some notes and listen for a good soundbite or quote you can use to convey the message.
