Lights....camera....action!

Many of you will hit the road soon and cover some of the area 1-4 ARB events. Please take the time to introduce yourself to the Army families and the Adopt-a-Unit organizers. They are interested in meeting you and learning more about what you're doing. Even if you are just shooting stills, you might think about conducting some interviews for your project. Take some notes and listen for a good soundbite or quote you can use to convey the message.

I attended the Hutto Old Tyme Days event today 10/18/08 and was able to speak with the workers of the Adopt-A-Unit including Amy Bennett. I did a total of 4 interviews and got many still photos (B&W / Color) of the events. I thought that the experience was better than expected, as the Dragon 1-4 ARB Family Readiness Group was more than willing to share stories, take photos, and do interviews. The festival was good and the City of Hutto was definately supporting the troops today. -James L.
